@luupeyedith24: Hey everyone, Ive been asked to speak at the Dilley Detention Center on Saturday , and I need to do something while I’m there that’s bigger than just my story. If you have a loved one inside Dilley detention center , I want to carry them with me during this speech. Photos, names, anything you’re comfortable sharing. I want to look out there and remind people inside that they are not forgotten. That somebody out here is still saying their name. Still fighting for them.🥹🥹👏👏💕 Even though my dad is home now, I can’t just walk away from this. The fight doesn’t stop at my family being reunited. There are still so many families separated, still waiting, still hurting every single day. And I’ve heard enough .. from my dad , from families, from advocates to know what’s going on inside is not okay. The conditions, the medical neglect, the way people are treated like they don’t matter… these are human beings. Fathers, mothers, kids. Not numbers. This isn’t politics to me. This is people. This is families being broken apart and left to survive it in silence. If you want your loved one included, message me. I will carry their name into that space and speak it out loud like they matter because they do. We are not going to normalize this. We are not going to look away. And we are not going to stop until families are reunited.

Can you speak at the geo center in Pearsall Tx? Can you get me juaquin Castro to pay attention there as well? I’ve called his office multiple times for things and he has done or said nothing not even called me back.. I know dilley is kids and kids should t be locked away.. they get all kinds of press and all kinds of news articles.. it helps the congressman and women look better.. but people like my husband and other grown men and women deserve the opportunity to be seen as well. Even if they aren’t considered important or will not get votes… even your dad had a big viewing and brought eyes onto whomever it was that helped… but regular people without Daca or asylum or any reason to boost views don’t get anything…. Does that sound harsh yes probably idk.. I hope what I said made sense though.. we need to bring light to places that aren’t worthy to the congressmen and people that use it for votes..

My dad has been in the same exact detention center your dad was in for the past three months now. I would always see your mom and dad there in the visitation area, but right now this has been a very difficult situation for my whole family. We have been struggling with many things including money, trying to get him out of the detention center, etc. But my dad is a very hard working person and i really wish he gets out soon. But you have made me think it is possible for my dad to make it out too.🤍
