Perched on the cliffside terrace of Jumeirah Bali, Akasa offers breathtaking views of the island’s clear waters and stunning sunsets, definitely the highlight of this place! The ambiance is lovely, making it a perfect spot for celebrations, relaxation, and soaking in the surroundings. . The menu features Asian dishes with seafood and prime cuts cooked over local firewood. A refreshing calamansi welcome drink and starters like one-bite fried wonton and fluffy steamed bun with seaweed butter were delicious complimentary nibbles. . However, if you’re coming with a group and planning to feast, the low outdoor table can make sharing food awkward. Plus, with the fireplace crackling on a warm evening, we were only 15 minutes from turning into babi guling. Thankfully, the staff were quick to accommodate our request to move indoors and even replenished our steamed buns. . As for the food, we weren’t expecting much beyond a chance to reunite on a rare occasion and yap away, but we were pleasantly surprised. Wagyu and caviar roll, banana leaf seabass, truffle mashed potatoes were all highlights. The T-bone steak was aromatic from the smoky rosemary, cooked to a rare level near the bone.
