@foodmymuse: Garlic Egg Yolk Confit for my "Just A Bite" series! So I've shared my spicy yolks confit, my cured yolks but I haven't shared my garlic confit yolks! I served these on warm ciabatta with parm, chives, flaky salt and lemon zest. Ingredients: * 6 egg yolks. * 8 garlic cloves (peeled). * Olive oil (cobram, enough to coat). * Ciabatta. * Chives. * Lemon zest. * Parm. * Flaky salt. Directions: 1. Add the garlic to a small saucepan and coat in olive oil. 2. Place on your smallest burner and turn the heat on to medium. Once it starts simmering, turn the heat to low and let it go for 20-25 min. You want the garlic soft and lightly golden. Let the oil cool. 3. Add the egg yolks to a baking dish and arrange the garlic cloves around it. 4. Preheat oven to 180F. 5. Add the garlic oil over the tops and if needed, add more olive oil on top. Cover with foil. 6. Add to a larger baking dish and add enough boiling water to cover half of the other dish. 7. Bake the eggs for 1 hour 15 min. Check at the 45 min mark to see if they're to your liking. I like mine soft. Turn oven off and let them sit there for another 15 min. 8. Spread the garlic on the toasted bread, serve the yolk on top, lots of parm, chives, lemon zest and flaky salt. #eggyolk #yolkconfit #garlicconfit #EasyRecipes
