I'm working on convincing my parents to sell me the house when they retire (they already have plans to move to another state closer to my grandma), because it might be the only way I'll ever be able to buy a house thats not listed for triple what it was a decade ago.

Because it’s difficult to find housing or homes and if you don’t have a high enough income you won’t qualify for that apartment that’s the real reason why, not only people can’t afford it.
