Thats why SVG is doing so well in the nascar series, we all grow up thrashing those roads as well as the metal roads, man i remember those days.

😂😂😂 Used to love that drive a few times a week when I surfed. Time for loud music. Fish by the great Kiwi band The Clean was a favorite. ❤️

Lots of roads in the South Island like that. The road to the west coast wasn’t fully paved until 85’

Used to live out there and worked in Auckland CBD. There and back everyday. Was common to see cars off the edge. Some of those corners are just moss.

wait till you drive tapu road from themes to coroglen nothing but gravel road for 1 plus hours and some parts just go to one lane 😂 Piha is a simple road
