@magnumclown: This review isn’t about being upset. It’s about food safety. I was approximately 25% through my nachos before my fiancé noticed a hair in the food and stopped me from taking another bite. Had he not noticed it, I likely would have eaten it. When I brought the issue to management’s attention, I was surprised by the response. The manager repeatedly emphasized that a $100 gift card was more than the cost of our meal and that the meal had been comped, as if the dollar amount somehow changed the fact that a foreign object was found in the food. For context, my fiancé and I regularly spend around $140 per day eating out and often spend $80-$200 at this restaurant alone. This was never about getting free food or compensation. The manager also stated that our waitress was one of their longest-standing employees, which seemed like an odd point to make considering it had nothing to do with the food safety concern being discussed. My goal wasn’t to argue or seek special treatment. I simply wanted to educate the staff that finding hair in prepared food is a food safety issue and should be treated as such.
