RANT INCOMIINNNGGGG 🌱 I have a genuine annoyance for people who still insist that we should've had a showdown between her and dottore. Or that she should've been cooler and use the powers from Nabu Malikata. (completely disregarding that she never would've regained controll over her body again if she did do so) 🌱 A main key-point in her story has been her desire to live a normal life. Being able to enjoy festivals, going out without having to worry about her health or danger she might cause. Dottore was never the source of her anguish either. Sure, it was his experiment and she suffered greatly from it. But more than anything she was pained by the losses she experienced. 🌱 Her parents death, the other children in the hospital, who managed to break out but even then couldn't trust each other and help when it was necessary. Collei has always needed community, a safe place to lay down. Somewhere she could just be the girl her mother wanted her to be, the future she'd dreamed for her ill daughter. All she'd ever fought for was a normal life, and she finally has the chance to make it so. 🌱 Collei was never a fighter, her anger and fury was forced upon her, we see how easy she was willing to give up given the chance. She was never the type to avenge her trauma with more violence. 🌱 Im so genuinely happy for her, I could write more and more but Im glad she's finally come to a point where she can let it all go.
