I have one child at SFUSD right now in elementary school but he’s in SPED so I had packets upon packets to complete when we enrolled. My other child starts TK in 2027, I was hoping to not have as much paperwork for my second child but I guess there’s still a lot 😅

As a public school teacher, these questions are super important, especially going into TK. It not only sets up the staff for success but your child as well!

As a teacher, I think it’s really good to have as many documents as you can so the teacher can get to know your four-year-old they are going to have 20 more four-year-olds that are gonna come in at the same time and just so that Teacher can have more of a understanding about what that child is

as a teacher, this is just to collect data on your child for the school to have so that they can be prepared, since ur kid is in TK, theres hardly if any, data collected for school purposes so far.

I’m a SFUSD parent of 3 and I also teach art for TK and Kinder students at my kid’s school. For TK this questionnaire makes sense. TK wasn’t an option for my kids yet so they went to preschool at 4, the questionnaires were similar.

Omg what never heard of tht before the questionnaire for sfusd, even selecting highschool or so there weren’t any(alumni of sfusd), maybe is a new system … 😳
