@gjansh.us0: This alignment plate tool lets you check and adjust toe alignment at home without expensive shop visits. Place it on your wheels, measure front and back distance, and adjust until it matches. It helps prevent uneven tire wear and keeps your vehicle driving straight and stable. #DealsForYouDays #SummerVibes #DIYCarRepair #CarHacks #WheelAlignment
“And that’s it!”…. Except it’s not. It’s not even close. If the vehicle you’re working on has a solid rear axle and non adjustable camber / caster, you’re close. But what about the 90+% of vehicles that need rear toe adjustments, front or rear camber adjustments, front caster adjustments? Real shops wouldn’t drop major coin on alignment machines if it wasn’t worth it 🙄

This is only good for toe, which is where the angle of attack for the tire going down the road. You don’t want these numbers to match, you want the front number to be 1/8” (no more) toed in. This does not account for camber (how flat the tire is on the ground) or caster (where the tire is sitting in the wheel well). This also only works if you have an older car, because you can’t calibrate the steering system with this. This is good for old trucks with a straight axle if you’re not doing a ton of highway driving. That’s about it

Did you say that the numbers are to be equal, that is wrong and dangerous. you must have some toe in on the front measurement

it's not till they're even you usually have a little bit of a toe in on your passenger side because the highways are not flat they're actually slanted so you have a down pitch to the left hand side so you tow pitch in just a few hairs so your car will pull inward instead of pulling downward and down the road so you have to do a little toad in on your passenger side the right hand side will be standard straight The only way to get that pitch is the measure from their back tire or a solid state laser or string or something that pulls your tire alignment showing that that side of your tire is square and facing forwards so it's more than just toe if you straighten out the front end so it's tows3 the road pitch as soon as you let go of the steering wheel will pull you off the highway and into something So just remember yes this could work on my piece of it but you have to know how to do it they're correct way
