@lovergirly888: looking for a free indoor escape in nyc? the Ford Foundation Center atrium on east 43rd street is one of the city’s best hidden gems. this massive glass enclosed garden feels like stepping into a tropical greenhouse in the middle of midtown manhattan, with towering plants, lush greenery, waterfalls, natural light, and plenty of places to sit and slow down. it’s especially perfect on a rainy day, when you still want fresh air vibes without actually being outside the building also features rotating art exhibitions and gallery spaces, so there’s usually something interesting to check out beyond the garden itself. admission is free, but you’ll need to register in advance (usually at least a day ahead) to secure a visitor pass as someone from detroit, I’m no stranger to the ford name. growing up, visits to Edsel & Eleanor Ford House were practically a rite of passage, so it was fun stumbling across another ford legacy in the middle of new york city @Ford Foundation #hiddengems #rainyday #nycbucketlist #midtown #touchgrass
