@spikedays: With broken hearts, Spike crossed the rainbow bridge today 🦎🌈💔. We made the heartbreaking decision to let him go peacefully after a rapid decline in his health. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult, but we are grateful for nearly 10 wonderful years with our rescue boy. Thank you to my son for begging us to get a bearded dragon with the $50 he saved up from delivering newspapers when he was 9 years old. Thank you to my daughter who painted this special rock for him when she was 5 years old. Thank you Mr. Crabs for being Spike's best friend. Lastly, thank you to everyone who loved, supported, and followed Spike throughout his journey. He touched more lives than we ever imagined and will leave a lasting mark on the bearded dragon community.
