Butter: Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread. Sear: Place the bread in the pan, smeared-side down. Fill: Add your desired filling on top of the bread in the pan, then cover it with the second slice of bread. Toast: Roast while flipping until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
