@cyrenidefrasier: Replying to @Alicia🌸/FTM ust to clear things up because I’m seeing a lot of comments — the dogs are safe and sound. My brother did go back and get them. The fire started in the attic due to an electrical fire. In that terrifying moment, they got the kids out first and then went back for the dogs. By that point, the house had started coming down. Please remember that you all saw only a short clip from a much longer and traumatic situation. They were facing a serious emergency and had seconds to react. Everything they knew and loved changed in an instant. I’m sorry for any confusion. I hope this video helps everyone understand that the dogs are okay and, most importantly, my family is okay as well. Thank you to everyone showing love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.#fyp #housefire #godundme

I have seen the first video and know the kids were already safe outside. I haven’t been through a house fire before and can understand that during these moments you and your wife weren’t necessarily thinking as clearly as usual, but I would like to think that I would be trying to push/herd the bigger dogs out the door and grabbing the smaller ones to carry out. Understanding they would instinctually run and hide, once some dogs got out close the door behind then go back in to search for the hiding ones (yes love and worrying about losing your family pet will take over the rational thinking part of any brain, knowing that going back inside a burning structure is never the smart choice). End conclusion: glad and thankful everyone made it out in the end, and sorry you now have to go through the very difficult stages of healing mentally, psychologically, and financially while you work at getting back on your feet again.
