Save on litter even though its annoying to clean, use a cheap one, make him food to supplement his diet if you cant buy a great brand, and make a small saving for emergencies, cats are really low maintenance!! And IF YOU CAN buy him a water fountain and if not, add some water to his food to avoid any urinary tract issues!!

I'm gonna say something a bit different, but buy cheap on everything but food. low quality food can cause kidney issues, stomach issues, metabolic dysfunction, etc, and all of that can shorten and make a cat's life worse. get cheap bowls and litter if you need, but invest in a good vet recommend food that isn't going to cause issues for your cat. he's adorable, so have fun!!

pet insurance is really cheap i pay 40 bucks a month and it got me out of a 5000 vet visit i only had to pay an excess which wasn’t high. it is so worth it to know i’ll never have to chose between money or my baby’s life.

oh he might be a pet, please check for a microchip. my friend lives very rurally and still lets her cats out, and one of them is obsessed with jumping in any open vehicle

dollar tree is really good for picking up cheap supplies such as; bowls, mats, litter boxes, litter scoopers, food, toys, and treats. i would definitely recommend going there because it's all really cheap for good things
