@cartersbakeshop: I’ve never understood refusing to spend 30 seconds opening a recipe file, but then being willing to spend time troubleshooting a recipe later. Baking already has enough variables. Why skip the information that’s there to help you succeed? This isn’t a criticism of recipe bloggers, creators who put recipes in captions, or anyone who shares content differently. There are plenty of ways to share recipes online. I’m simply explaining why I don’t. The same approach I use paying clients is the same approach I use when I share recipes with my audience free or paid. The recipe file is part of the recipe. I want you to have the entire recipe, not just the ingredient list. I am known for the amount of information I give and provide in my formulas for success and repeatability. #supportsmallbusiness #bakery #recipetok #cinnamonroll #bakingtips
People will spend $20–50 on ingredients and several hours making something, but won’t spend 30-60 seconds clicking a link or finding a recipe on their own and reading the instructions that were written specifically to help them succeed. Then they’ll say the recipe was bad. Or have to make it multiple times before it’s successful. No give and take either just take without supporting the developer or creator.

It’s learning how to think like a baker, not just how to make a recipe, and that’s incredible work on your end!!

i've always disliked having the recipe in the caption, it doesn't ever feel like enough information for me

I like that your content is a bit more professionally focused. I bake a lot of bread but sweets are mysterious to me so I appreciate the detail ❤️

100%! When I share recipes, I do it so that others can be successful at something, whether it's cooking or baking.

I would rather bake something so diligently for three hours the first time than do a twenty minute dump and pray recipe 😅

Yes same!!! A recipe cannot be summed up in the caption of a quick reel. If people don’t want to click the link then my recipes aren’t for them.

What does recipe file mean? like an in-depth explanation for what is used and why it is used in the conditions mentioned in the recipe? the science and reasoning??
