Been unemployed since Dec ‘23. Thousands of apps. Just landed a role with 120k base salary + bonus, starting next month. And funny as it sounds…after all this time, im barely even happy about it. I think something in my dopamine receptors broke along the way lol. I was 25 when I got laid off (for the second time), and am 28 now. Just feel like I lost a lot of time. But I hope we can all hit our stride eventually

I lost 3 jobs in 3 years 2023-25. Last one I was unemployed 7 months. Took a job at a $40k salary decrease because honestly it’s all I could get. I moved to a federal government job from tech. I lost all the experience and knowledge I built over like 15 years and am back to the salary I was making 10 years ago. I don’t even know who I am anymore.

Lost my job in January last year. Interviewed with 5 companies earlier this year with final rounds. Didn’t get a single one. Had to take a break after that. But we back in motion, and I feel something coming soon!
