I mean you're right, and wrong. They love MC and have preferences that match her, yes. but those preferences are there because they're a part of mc, they developed them because she's who she is. if MC was different, they would change their preferences to like how she's changed. it would make them different in a way, so it wouldn't be say the same Sylus from the game but one that fits his new girl better. So you could get a Sylus if he ever became real and chose you, but it would be a Sylus molded to you, not the Sylus from the game. but game Sylus is only for MC and that's who I adore so I resign myself to knowing I partially control her at least.
