@tashafranken: I stopped intermittent fasting. Here is exactly why. When it started gaining popularity, I tried it like so many others. And at first, there were benefits. But combined with an active lifestyle, training, and everyday stress, fasting started to feel like one more thing my body had to manage rather than something that was supporting it. What I did not know then is that most of the research behind intermittent fasting was done on men. And women's bodies respond very differently. For some women it is a genuinely helpful tool. For others it can leave you exhausted, affect your cycle, and create more stress than benefit. The difference is not about discipline. It is about understanding what your body actually needs. If you have ever tried fasting and felt worse rather than better, you are not doing it wrong. Your body might just be telling you something worth listening to.
