id be carefull with dropping ice cubes in the tank btw. something more sustainable is to just put a fan n aim it at the top of the water. it Evaporates it like crazy so you'll need to top up. but it does cool the whole tank off

Bro, dropping ice directly into the tank causes rapid, localized drops in temperature. Fish and shrimps are cold-blooded and highly sensitive to sudden changes; this temperature shock can severely stress them, compromise their immune systems, or even be fatal🥹

Just a reminder, putting ice into the tank causes cold spots which can shock your fish. Hopefully this ice is also made with distilled or tank water 😅
