My dad’s whistle is so distinctive. We had a lot of land growing up, so a whistle was more effective than calling our name. To this day, i can be in a crowded place, my dad will whistle and I perk up like a birding dog and look for him 😂😂😂

My daughter’s name is Emma she is almost 14. When she was a little one I would call her “Emmy Lou who” or say “Emmy doodle doo where are you”. So she goes by Emmy at school but at home she goes by goblin, gremlin, oogey boogey and just boogie. My millennial obsession with Dr Seuss, Scooby Doo and Nightmare before Christmas has ruined her. 😂🤣

My son’s name is Lennon. We started calling him Lemon when he was still a baby. He now (at 10) will answer to anything with lemon. Lemonade, lemon pie, lemon juice, you name it 🤣 You should see the looks in the store when we yell out “Lemonade” and he responds hahaha
