Charging anywhere but your home takes TIME. You wasted your TIME waiting for the thing to charge…

I have a 2014 Tesla model s, I also have a Dodge ram pickup truck. I bought the Tesla purely to get my kids and I around the city and off to sports to save the the massive amount of money I spent driving in my truck. I bought the Tesla second hand and have had no problems over the past 3 years and have only put windshield wiper fluid in and I did buy new tires and that's it. so my experience is I have saved thousands of dollars and only dried my truck when I need to carry or move large items

Clearly, you’re not factoring in the initial cost of the vehicle versus a ice engine vehicle. Also, you’re not looking at depreciation. Also, you forgot to do the rotation of your tires each year, which is very important.

This is the most biased video I’ve seen about Teslas. You never mentioned the insurance payment the cost of the vehicle. Also tires for EV’s are more expensive and they get eaten up very quickly because of the instant torque and the weight of the vehicle. If you’re going to try to convince us about getting an EV at least be more honest about it!!!

Why don’t you compare depreciation?

Try checking costs after say 10-15 years and you will realise that the EVs are just as costly as ICE cars and even more so when the battery needs replacing

Gas car equivalent $40k, Tesla $80K. At 12K mileage add one oil change but half the payment. My CX5 is 10 years old and the biggest maintenance cost was a wheel bearing. Teslas have this too by the way. My Mazda dealer charged me $800 upfront for lifetime oil changes. So super cheap to own comparably

A similar gasoline powered car would cost considerable less. Honda Civic for example is approximately $15,000 less. That cost savings over gasoline will take 8-10 years to make up. Yhen you need to look at the price of a battery replacement, that won’t be cheap.

It really depends on what kind of a car owner you are because you can own a Honda or a Toyota for 20 years and you can’t measure that valuation on a Tesla if you can find a 20 year-old Tesla
