The honeymoon phase only fades whenever you stop chasing that person when you stop trying to learn that person because I don't care if you've been married 60 years like my parents they still find things that they love about each other every single day and they're in their honeymoon phase for the last 60 years

I understand all that, but the “Thank you” for everything shouldn’t disappear if you already have the habit. My girlfriend and I say thank you to each other even for simple things like: Thanks for the coffee babe. If you keep that in your daily life, you’ll have 1 less problem

but remember guys, if nothings changes then nothings going to change. dont let it stay just a fight, figure out what needs to change so that doesnt happen again.

I wanna add this here, because this is 100% propaganda that I fell for that kept me miserable for years. Fights are normal, people butt heads. What ISN'T normal is constantly fighting despite trying to work through anyway and still failing. If you're constantly fighting and no one is happy, it is okay to step back from that relationship to protect yourself and your peace.

I remarried at age 47 and it's been 9 years and we actually don't fight. we talk about things that bother us but it never gets to a fight. if you learn to communicate well, you will never hold grudges

My husband and I NEVER fight for anything like ever. We are two peas in a pod. People always say if you don't fight it's not normal but that's not true at all. When you find the right one it all falls together. No fighting, no arguing, no disagreements, no going to bed angry or storming out. It's a beautiful thing. He shows me EVERYDAY what real love is.🥰

there's a difference between fighting and arguing. having an argument is normal and okay because each person is different fighting however, is not healthy

You’re relationship won’t have much problems if you don’t think of it as phases. Trust me.

The hardest ones are when it’s something not even worth fighting over but tension gets high trying to work it out. I’ve had to learn to take a step back and a deep breath and remind my partner that I’m not trying to win a fight. I just want him to understand my perspective and communicate that understanding.

We've been together for so long and have never once fought, it's actually completely avoidable if you just actually communicate and are emotionally aware

We have been married 39 years and never had a fight. We communicate all the time and have so much respect and love for each other. I don’t understand how couples can call each other bad names and criticize them so much. I see this while out all the time.

So research and psychologists actually say fighting in relationships is not normal. My partner and i were proof of that before he died. If you communicate from the begining arguments dont happen. He and I were together for 5 years. It also has to do with respect. My friend and i have huge differences. We have been friends for so long we are practically sisters and her and i never fight. We simply talk. Like everything else society wants you thinking fighting is normal and healthy. Its not
