@visit_skane: Buckle up for some nest-level conservation, we’ve got a stork in progress! 🐣   Once a familiar sight across the region, the white stork sadly disappeared from the wild in the 1950s. Since 1989, @storkprojektet_ has been working to bring this majestic bird back to the skies of Skåne.   Thanks to conservation and @storkriket Biosphere Reserve, there are now wild storks enjoying the flat meadows and wetlands of Skåne once again.   Where can I see the storks? 👇   📍Fulltofta (Stork Project aviary) 📍Hemmestorps Mölla (Stork Project aviary) 📍Storkriket Biosphere Reserve (wild storks)   So grab your binoculars and keep your eyes on the horizon, you might just catch a glimpse of one of Skåne’s most iconic birds.
