In the end, Harvey wins the case by questioning the taxi driver carefully until he admits he was rushing and drove through a red light. This proves that the taxi driver caused the accident, not Harvey’s driver, so the lawsuit falls apart.

In the end Harvey loses, and one of the stipulations of the suit is that Harvey has to start dating the taxi driver. At first, he’s reluctant and bored. Time passed and they fall madly in love. In the last season of the show the taxi driver finally gets the medallion he was going for, and Harvey adds to the excitement by revealing he’s pregnant. They happily spend the rest of their lives together.

*Spoiler Alert* - Harvey is examining the taxi driver on the stand and has him backed into a corner, about to admit the light was red. But before he answers, Harvey requests a sidebar with the judge. There, he offers for the taxi driver to accept responsibility for the accident, allow insurance to handle everything, and waive his right to collect legal fees from the taxi driver. The taxi driver is floored and says, “I don’t know what to say”, to which Harvey responds, “Don’t say anything… I’ve got a reputation to maintain.” Or something like that…
