@annie_in_sydney: 🍵 osuke, utrecht 📍 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 10-minute walk or 3-minute cycle from utrecht centraal. a cosy little spot tucked away from the busy streets. 🍡 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹? ceremonial-grade matcha, japanese sweets, seasonal treats, and a beautiful collection of japanese pottery and tableware. 🍓 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿? • ceremonial-grade matcha • strawberry daifuku • strawberry canelé ✨ 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 a living room-style café filled with gorgeous japanese pottery, cutlery and thoughtful details. seating is limited both inside and outside, making it feel intimate and cosy. the matcha was excellent — smooth, rich and well-balanced. the strawberry canelé felt like an unexpected pairing in a japanese tea house, but it worked surprisingly well with the matcha. the strawberry daifuku was enjoyable, though a little on the sweeter side for our taste. we would have loved to see a warabimochi on the menu instead, and a slightly more generous red bean filling would have made the daifuku even better. still, a fantastic spot to catch up with friends, whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a rainy day spent lingering over matcha 🍵✨ #utrecht #utrechtfood #europetravel #netherlands #amsterdam
