@persecondnews.ng: Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has said he does not see the level of hunger many Nigerians complain about, arguing that the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms are beginning to yield benefits. Speaking during a live interview on Arise News, Onanuga said he regularly speaks with people working for him privately about how they are coping and adjusting to current economic realities, insisting that the situation is not as severe as often portrayed. He defended the administration’s policies by pointing to the over 100 per cent increase in the national minimum wage, the federal student loan scheme, growth in the stock market and ongoing infrastructure projects across the country. According to him, many Nigerians are benefiting from government interventions, while improved road networks and economic opportunities are helping to ease challenges faced by citizens.
