‼️don’t forget! f you’re trying this underpainting method, prep your canvas with 3 coats of gesso. This will provide grip for your pencil sketch and seal off your canvas well and prevent the paint from absorbing too quickly, allowing you to easily lift off the highlights.

Hi there! If I’m painting over and acrylic underpainting, do I still follow the fat order lean rule or can I just skip the lean and use my oil paints mixed with a little linseed oil?
