Damn don’t get too attached. Imagine if the baby had congenital heart conditions, biliary atresia, VACTERL association, spina bifida. All of those are detected via ultrasound. Especially with spina bifida, early detection allows for better outcomes as more kids walk if detected and prenatal surgery is performed prior to birth

I understand that people don’t agree with your choices, but these comments like “don’t get too attached” are ridiculous. This is their child and they are doing what they believe is best. Like every parent does! This is a living being, a soul. A baby! You fully expect it to be healthy and for the birth to go the way you imagine it. Everyone loves their baby, born or not. Ultrasounds or not, hospital check-ups or not. These comments really are not okay, and especially not to prove a point.
