As a kaiako, definitely keep the big cake for your whānau. The small one will be plenty as a little goes a long way with little ones ❤️we usually only give a small piece served with fruit

Ok hear me out. Cut the big one the same size as the small cake- make it two tier (half average half good on top of eachother, heaviest on the bottom layer). Coconut yoghurt layer in the middle or lemon cream cheese if you've got the ingredients? Then you still get good cake 🎂 💕
