the whole point is ascend and forget. u get yourself to a place where you're confident/less insecure, forget the process and start living your life how you want. sure it's time consuming for a period and socially unacceptable because it's a self-centred process but it allows a lot of people to actually start living their life after being ridiculed for their appearance

i do think though that a lot of girls do the same thing in another shape or form with their insecurities and one form of fixing it is their makeup. it's just not one specific centralised thing like it is with blackpill/looksmaxxing. some of y'all need to self reflect and love yourselves more.
