For people being jerks, they have high heat and humidity. Their buildings are meant to keep warm in the winter not deal with extreme heat. They’re not used to being in extreme heat and most of them don’t have air conditioners.

i am a Nigerian. And my country is one of the hottest in the world. uet the first time i experienced this in the UK, i fainted. one of the weirdest experience i had. fainting drom heat? my family back home couldnt believe it.

schools shut but people working in 50⁰c kitchens is alright. companies should do a better job of when its really hot shifts are shortened. im doing a 12 and a half hour shift today, its unnecessary
