@enertor_: Check list straight from an ironman world champ ⬆️ PRO TIP ⬇️ Lay out all your gear at home before you rack your transition bags and take a photo. A visual reference helps you either repack confidently the next morning without missing anything or reassures you that you have everything when you start doubting the night before race day and you don’t have access to the bags. Label or mark your transition bags clearly - in a long-distance race with a large field, the transition area is chaotic. Take a photo of where your bag is in transition/ on the rack so you can refer to it pre-race while you are nervous. Work back from when the race starts to find your race morning timings and prevent undue stress. 1. How much time before the start do you need to be in the start area? 2. How long does it take to get from transition to the start area? 3. How long will you allow for a portaloo stop and putting on your wetsuit? 4. How long will you want in the transition setting up? 5. How long is the journey from your accommodation to transition? 6. How early do you need to wake up to make these timings and eat your pre-race breakfast? Planning this all out will prevent un-needed stress and drama come race morning. #triathlon #ironman #runningtips
