@sciaticawithdan: The Roman chair is one of the best exercises for recovery in my opinion, but you need to be using it correctly. It can be done in most stages of healing and is great for discs, piriformis syndrome and especially spondylolisthesis! It targets all the deep stabilisers and lower back muscles. Start with easy static holds for up to 30 seconds and as you recover, move through the range until you’re getting all the way down.
