@cinematografico__: Anton Chigurh never screams, never threatens in any conventional sense. 🚨🙌🏻 He walks into a room and the temperature drops: that’s the miracle of Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men, the film with which the Coen brothers won four Oscars in 2007. A group of psychiatrists who analyzed over 400 films concluded that his portrayal was the most realistic depiction of a psychopath in cinema history between 1915 and 2010. What makes it all more absurd is that Bardem told the Coens he couldn’t drive, had no experience with firearms, and was uncomfortable acting in English. They weren’t concerned in the slightest. The real torment, though, was the haircut. Bardem joked that with that hairstyle he wasn’t going to “get laid for two months,” and his fellow actors said he felt so ashamed of it that he could barely bring himself to leave the house.
