@yas84135: The latest UN findings are devastating, but they are not surprising. The world did not need another report to know what Palestinians have been enduring for years. We have watched children killed, families erased, hospitals destroyed, schools bombed, entire neighbourhoods reduced to rubble, and millions subjected to collective punishment. Israeli acts represent some of the gravest crimes imaginable and demand accountability at the highest level. No government should be above international law. No state should be immune from scrutiny because of its allies or geopolitical importance. The selective outrage, double standards, and political cowardice of much of the international community have helped normalise suffering that would be intolerable anywhere else. Every child deserves protection. Every civilian life has equal value.
