She was postpartum and the reality is that she was not being heard and tried to admit her self multiply time. Medications Meade her worse giving her side affects doctors ignored. Medications can alter your mind if it not suppost to be in your body poor family the system failed her and she takes blame? Nahh everyone needs to recess the system that is broken. Pediatrician and OBGYN and doctors are at fault here

This is what I tell my patients who hear voices. Just because the voice comes from your brain doesn’t mean it’s right, real or safe. I can tell you the voices are powerful and overwhelming to them. They cannot get away from them. Unfortunately the way our health system is set up, there are no longer enough long stay hospitals. You’re lucky to get 4-5 days of observation and medication changes then you’re on your own.

She was in my peloton mom’s group on FB…she posted right after she had callan his great her birth was because she exercised during it etc. she seemed so happy. This is just so tragic . Only thing if she really didn’t mean too maybe she was hallucinating and thought something else was happening😭 idk

This is literally a no win situation. Postpartum depression is real disease and she was being actively treated for and under a doctors care. I want everyone to think of this woman as your daughter, friend, niece or cousin. She was ill and needed more help than she was getting.

I mean I was a mom at 16 and I didn’t know how to take care of them and when I did I was depressed and just exhausted. But never did I want to harm them. There was once where I had to take my daughter to my mom and walk away crying. If I can comprehend that at 16 an adult can.
