ஆலங்காய் விண்ணிலவே என்பது குளிர்ந்த வெண்ணிலவே என்றே பொருள்படும். ஆலம் என்பது விசம் என்றும் பொருள் உள்ளது. காதலி மேல் விசத்தை பொழிவது அபத்தம். ஆலங்கட்டி மழை கேள்விப்பட்டதில்லையா.
