Please try to get a sample of Byredo Oboro —a Japan exclusive— by Jérôme Epinette. I tested and purchased on the same day it was released (yesterday). It’s a sublime citrus, vetiver, petrichor scent. If you’re curious, I’ve just added a review on Fragrantica.

Aww we know you love Vetiver! As to great hotel scents: - DS & Durga Debaser was the scent of the coolest hotel I’ve been to in London. It’s genderless and was expertly suited. - Hermes eau des merveilles is hotel like too. It’s indescribable, but sort of amber with a bit of salty skin to it. So good.

Some good hotel lobby scents that include vetiver are Byredo Bal D’Afrique (Intercontinental), Amouage Dia Man (Jumeirah Saadiyat) and Bois d’Encens (Armani Hotel)

Vintage Frederic Malle French Lover is my all time favorite vetiver fragrance. The galbanum and angelica stands out most in the opening, but the dry down is an amazing, woody, spicy, smooth green vetiver. It kind of comes off as a green version of a "blue" fragrance in the dry down.
