In the UK, they’re often called dosette boxes. As a teen I used to help in my dad’s pharmacy by delivering them to people in the community or assisting him or the dispensing tech in putting them together

Ok so who’s the management that does the back end ? Follows up the patients, drs, ect when there are changes or they run out of scripts how many people are involved in doing the bulk of this job?

Worked at a pharmacy in highschool in a small town. We did a LOT of blister packs, especially for patients who have a lot of medications. Some had multiple blister packs based on the time of day the medication was needed. We unfortunately had to change extra ($10) because we were doing it by hand but most patients greatly appreciated it, especially if they didn’t realize it was an option in the first place

I feel like if someone asked me "have you ever used a dose administration aid?" I'd say, never heard of it. I could build a wardrobe out of all the blister packs I've used.

I’ve already been filling my own med container/organizer for so long I feel like I could do this so quickly. Honestly I find filling my med organizer kinda soothing 😅

In my country all the medication comes in blister packing... we buy the whole box of medicine even if we only need 3 tablets. I didn't know it wasn't like that everywhere

I am so thankful for these blister packs. I use to have to have 2 med dispensers for my medications which I take 4 times a day plus injectable’s. It took hours to fill them. Having them not only delivered but in helpful packs is amazing.
