@alphaclubclinic: Tony’s picked up a limp after a few big walks on Friday. 🐾 He’s still putting weight on it, still running around, still getting on the sofa and upstairs, but he’s definitely limping, especially when he first gets up after resting. I’m assuming it’s some sort of soft tissue strain and we’ve been taking it easy for the last few days, but we’re now on day 4 and it’s still there. 🐶 At what point would you take your dog to the vet? Would you give it another few days to settle down, or would you get it checked now? Anyone had something similar with their dog? Let me know in the comments 👇
peps are supposed to work wonders for pets, glow supposed to be good for older dogs.

Someone else said it but check paws for foxtails, they are so so dangerous during summer and most people don’t know what they are.

Dogs hips and elbows aren’t connected with a socket like us, so limps that last longer than a day ideally should be a visit to the vets

He is only a puppy. DDB grow very quickly and they get growing pains. They also have soft tissue and use need to be careful when you walk him. Try and rest him and to be honest walk him less as a puppy too much exercise isn’t a good thing until they develop more. Won’t be fully developed until he is over 2 years old. 👍🏻

Big dogs get muscle injuries often. especially if they are active. Wouldn't worry about it to much mate. Unless you can't see some improvement over the next 2 to 3 weeks

I’m no expert mate but mine had something similar, if it’s muscle they’ll tell you to rest it for a week or so if he’s ok with moving the joint and if he’s ok with you touching it I’d rest and keep a close eye on it. Either that or take him to the vet and be ready to be bent over !! 💪
