@oliver.merrick: Your second brain is probably a museum. Not because notes are bad. Because most note systems stop at storage. You read something. You save it. You backlink it. You stare at the graph and feel productive. But nothing in the business moves. A backlink says: these two pages are related. Cool. A relation says: this task belongs to this project, this project belongs to this client, this client has this deliverable, this deliverable has an owner, this owner has a deadline. That is the difference. One connects information. The other connects work. This is why I never got obsessed with building the perfect note graph. I needed a system my AI agents could actually operate inside. Databases for avatars, angles, frameworks, landing pages, email sequences, ad creatives and campaigns. Relations between them. Then Claude can move through the structure, cross-reference the context, and help build something new without me re-explaining the whole business every time. The graph looks prettier. The database does the work. That is the shift most people miss with AI workspaces. The job is bigger than remembering things. You are building the map your agents use to act. Notes store what you know. Relations let the system use it. Save this if you're building your workspace for AI, not just for yourself.
