Beef Biryani Ingredients * 2 kg basmati rice, soaked * 2 kg beef (short ribs & brisket) * 2 kg onions, sliced * 1 packet Sanfaz Biryani Masala * 2 tbsp tomato paste * 1 cup yogurt * 4 tomatoes * 1 tbsp ginger * 1 tbsp garlic * 1 tsp cinnamon * 1 tsp curry powder * 1 tsp cardamom * 1 tsp cumin * 1 tsp black pepper * Salt * Oil * Fresh coriander * Golden raisins * Yellow food colour * Potatoes, air-fried Method 1. Slice the onions and deep-fry until golden brown. Set aside. 2. Blend tomatoes, ginger, garlic and yogurt until smooth. 3. Season the beef with biryani masala, cinnamon, curry powder, cardamom, cumin and black pepper. 4. Add tomato paste, blended mixture, some onion oil and half the fried onions. Add salt and mix well. 5. Pressure cook the beef for 60 minutes until tender. 6. Meanwhile, cook the soaked basmati with cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and salt. When almost done, add yellow colour, raisins, fried onions and coriander. Cover and finish cooking. 7. For the sambaro, cook carrots, green peppers, green chilli and mango with lime juice and spices. Add blended ginger & garlic and simmer for 10 minutes. 8. Finish the beef sauce on Fry mode, add air-fried potatoes and remaining fried onions. 9. Plate the rice, top with the beef sauce, coriander, fried onions and green chilli. Serve with sambaro. #swahilitiktok #biryani
