I understand being frustrated with Georgia for her secrets and lies, but at the same time, Zion also needs to understand where she comes from. Georgia didn’t grow up with stability or rich parents who could fix everything for her. She didn’t have the kind of safety net Zion had. She came from an abusive household, and that changes how someone learns to survive in the world. A lot of what she does comes from that survival mindset hiding things, protecting herself, making fast decisions when she feels cornered. It doesn’t excuse everything, but it explains why she struggles to be open or trust easily. That’s what makes their conflict so complicated. It’s not just about who is right or wrong. It’s about two people with completely different pasts trying to understand each other, and constantly missing each other in the process.
