After my stepmom passed, I called my dad every, day. I wanted to make sure he was ok. And now, we talk every day! I have known SO many who suffer. Reach out. Call them, send that text. Just checking in may do some good.

I was a volunteer firefighter for 6 years and a first responder for many years. You see a lot of bad things in these jobs. I have seen many bad things in the many years I was a firefighter. I have worked in a County jail for 20 years and we also see a lot of bad things.

Followed Andrew. Absolutely as a man I can say that we need to talk about how we feel and there is zero shame in that.

Just followed the guy thanks QB,such an important topic,85-90% of self unalivements are male,so clearly men feel lost/isolated/embarrassed/feel as if they must reach a certain standard/feel they haven’t made the most of potential/feel they’ve let parents down somehow/feel a lot of pressure when dating and feel they must be on par with their peers. Also we bottle things up a lot,I tend to walk away a lot and not discuss anything that might be bothering me”Don’t want to have negative energy or vibe passed on to others.”I was that guy who was very social and worked most of my life,I was able to drive for 23yrs,I was always meeting up with buddies for a beer,a game of snooker or pool, and I had 8 relatives alive that have now passed since 2023.My uncle(Late dads sisters husband died 2 weeks ago tomorrow),he was heading home from work and took massive heart attack, thankfully his work mate was driving, but he was gone long gone before ambulance arrived. As a man the best person to talk to is your mother,a mum will listen not judge or have knee jerk reaction, she’ll listen and reassure you.Remember there’s no love like a mothers love and your well-being is her top priority-So guys go talk to her if you still have yours,if not go get that counselling I’ve been many many times since I was 19 and I’m 49 in August. I’ll not lie ever,I’ve had a really really bad day today with my mental health, and often there’s nothing on my mind to get me down over the years.I’ve been that bad today all I’ve ate was scrambled eggs on toast this morning. But just got to carry on as tomorrow is a new dawn.Don’t fail yourself let alone your family, you owe it to yourself to at least seek and get that help, and buy yourself time don’t get an idea in your head and go do something silly.Good luck guys,it’s a tough time to be a white straight Christian guy at the moment. But nothing ever stays the same,it’s all change that’s how the world works.Stay strong Bro’s💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻,no one is more or less important in this world than the next person. You are a unique special individual, just like the lady drew attention to this topic.👍⭐️

I try not to share this, at 21 I tried to end my life because of the emotional pain I was going through at that time. I kept it to myself because I didn't know how to talk about it. But it's far behind me. We don't really know what's going through a man's mind. No matter what his age could be.

My first cardiac arrest was when I was in EMT school. It was a 8 year old little girl. 26 years later I can still hear her momma screaming outside the room. I’ll never forget it.

Lost my 20 y/o to suicide great football player they believe CTE was a factor w/ his brain Bleeds and multi concussions. 6 years later lost my other son and only other child in a car accident. Talk about a struggle.

And if your at school for example as a pupil or member of staff, keep an eye out for that guy who’s body language suggest he feels detached from the rest,go over to him and say hello, ask him how are you m8?,we can all do a lot more instead of being fixated in self interests.Be observant to lots of things going on a round you,go with your gut feeling and look out for everyone males and females.❤️🇺🇸💯%
