I skimmed Zander and Stevies story. I really did not care for that book, and read all the rest and really enjoyed them.so I would say you don’t have to completely read the first book to get the series.

Yes and no. They are interconnected but I feel like each book does a “recap” of the last book. I think the experience is better if you read the all, less guessing but I think they would still be enjoyable otherwise.

It’s fun if you don’t want any spoilers but I found Indy’s story first so I just went with whoever’s story I felt most drawn to after that. I did Indy, Stevie, Halle, Kennedy, and will do Miller next. I’m also now super invested in Reese’s story after being introduced to her in Kennedys, so that will be after Miller for me!
