During the Ba'athist regime, he and his family were forced to leave Iraq due to alleged non-Arab origins. He subsequently migrated to Iran, settling in Isfahan.Career and Rise to Fame1994: Al-Karbalaei was invited to recite in Kuwait during the first ten days of Muharram.
