@cgtneurope: A Chinese naval formation led by the aircraft carrier Liaoning has returned to Qingdao after completing more than 40 days of far-sea combat training in the South China Sea and Western Pacific. The formation carried out a series of combat readiness exercises, including joint land-sea operations, carrier-based aircraft flights, search-and-rescue missions, live-fire drills and day-and-night ship-aircraft confrontations. The Liaoning group also conducted joint exercises with an amphibious assault ship formation in the Western Pacific, testing its ability to operate alongside amphibious forces in far-sea combat scenarios. Chinese naval personnel said the training focused on realistic combat conditions and helped validate the carrier group's integrated combat capabilities. The formation also maintained high vigilance during what China described as repeated close-in tracking and surveillance by Japanese vessels and aircraft. #China#Liaoning#PLA#ChineseNavy#Military
