My issue is I still seem to miss the big moves. I am learning with paper trading. I set a limit buy order in the after hours market between 7:30-8pm est. And then I will input a limit sell order where I have seen price react at in the past and I’m still messing up. It either reverses in a downward tread from where I placed my buy or it goes up but not quite hitting my target. I have lost so much money. I’m no where near trading with real money.

so you buy a stock and immediately put a stop loss on it or you have a mental stop loss? also you have a stop buy placed ahead of time or you buy as it breaks out?

How early do you actually wake up to be prepped for 7am news? I happen to work nights so I've been able to check premarket starting right from 4am on my work days lol
