@krishnachaytanya: A webhook is how a server tells your app something happened, instead of you polling the API over and over asking "anything new yet?" With polling you keep hitting the API on a timer and mostly get nothing back, wasting calls. With a webhook you register your callback URL once, and the provider pushes each event to that URL the instant it happens. One setup, no wasted requests, real-time updates.
