I’m experiencing hyper lactation with my 5 week old, I’m trying all the things to help, laying back when feeding, trying to express a little beforehand but she still gulps down milk which makes her uncomfortable should I wait for my supply to settle or is there something else I could do to help??

hi Dr! quick qn I'm facing hyper lactation with my infant at 400g gain per week full breastfeeding even with pacing feeds. but we ended up hospitalised with cyanotic EPs even with pace feeding bottle. nothing came up with brain/heart scans so is this still a hardware issue? 😕 care team coming up with nothing still. appreciate the help ❤️

My exclusivity BF baby was doing this from very early on. I went to multiple GP’s, multiple MCHN appointments and all they did was tell me I wasn’t coping with normal newborn behaviour. Then at 3mo my daughter went from pooing mucous to pooing blood and she was eventually diagnosed with a CMPA 😭 We have dairy/lactose intolerance in my family but I was never once asked 💔 she’s now 8yo and still lactose intolerant the poor love
